Argyle waterfall is located on an old cocoa estate that was the site of the famous The Belmanna Riots in 1876. The trail to the falls passes through stands of cocoa trees along with magnificent imortels that were used as shade trees for the precious cocoa
The trail abounds with a breathtaking variety of butterflies, spiders, lizards and snakes. The sound of exotic birds such as cocricos and parrots create a cacophonic orchestra of chirps as if to serenade the unspoilt beauty of this eden. .
Argyle waterfall has many levels. The lowest three of these are usually explored on a tour.If you want to get the full experience of the fall be prepared to hike up the trail on the right of the first fall.
